Horium Foods Inc. was founded in 1982 in Montreal, Canada
by the Ho family. Under the leadership of Dr. Chong Hong Ho, PhD in biochemistry
and food chemistry, we have developed into the premier producers of tofu and
other soy foods. Our unique and innovative production methods combine the
ancient techniques of our Chinese ancestors - the creators of tofu - with modern
technology and food science, resulting in soy foods of the finest quality and
taste. Horium Foods uses only non-GMO soybeans and also offers a line of organic
products, which are certified by Ecocert Canada. Furthermore, Horium
products are 100% pure and natural. We do not use any additives or
preservatives, such as carrageenan (used as a thickener and stabilizer), which
is found in many other brands of soy beverages. Studies have found that
carrageenan is linked to cancer and other health problems.
